Examples of lasers developed for our clients
Q-switched 1540-nm Yb,Er:glass laser
Record setting 88 kHz pulse rate operation was obtained from this passively Q-switched 1540-nm Yb,Er:glass microchip laser pumped with a single-mode fiber-coupled diode laser. A 6 μJ, 3 ns, 30 kHz variant was developed for a commercial lidar system with over 1000 units manufactured.
CW 2940-nm Er:YAG laser
The world’s first commercial continuous wave 2940-nm Er:YAG laser product composed of a single microchip resonator pumped with a single emitter diode laser, hermetically packaged in free-space and fiber-coupled formats, was developed jointly by Endeavour Laser Technologies and Sheaumann Laser.
Q-switched 1540-nm Yb,Er:glass laser
This robust and compact actively Q-switched 1540-nm Yb,Er:glass laser product developed for use in a hand-held LIBS product generated 3.5 mJ, 32 ns pulses at rates up to 20 Hz in a near-diffraction-limited output beam.
Q-switched 1064-nm Nd:YAG laser
This robust and compact passively Q-switched 1064-nm Nd:YAG laser generated 8.5 mJ, 6 ns pulses at rates up to 50 Hz with a near-diffraction limited output beam. Over 500 lasers were manufactured as of the end of 2023 and lasers continue to be produced at a rate of several hundred per year.
Visible CW DPSS lasers
This example of a compact, sealed laser head generates >200 mW continuous mode power at 523-nm with a diffraction limited output beam. Operation at 495 nm, 607 nm, 640 nm and 721 nm have also been demonstrated with this platform.
UV CW DPSS lasers
This example of a compact, sealed laser generates >30 mW continuous mode power at 261-nm with operating lifetimes >1,000 hours. Operation at 320 nm has also been demonstrated.
